Rummy, with friends

Two decks, fourteen cards each, and a table everyone can rearrange. No discard pile, no clock: a turn when you have a minute, from your phone or your desk.

How it goes

1. Start a game for two, three or four, and have your friends open it and join. Deal when the seats are full.
2. Lay down melds: runs of the same suit, sets of the same rank, three cards or more. Your first play must be worth thirty points; after that, build on anything on the table, or rearrange it, as long as every meld still holds.
3. Draw when you cannot play. The first hand to empty wins the round; the others count what they still hold.
